Versatile Tilt and Turn Windows from Stonehouse Corinium in Cirencester, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire & Oxfordshire

Tilt and Turn Windows

Stonehouse Corinium offer a wide range of windows that include not only the common casement windows but also special tilt and turn windows. They are distinctive because they combine practicality with functionality whilst offering excellent security. Tilt and turn windows are installed in situations where there is limited room externally for outward opening windows or in rooms and apartments situated above ground floor. Tilt and turn windows open inwards i.e. into the room thus making it easy to clean both sides of the glass from the inside while providing ventilation.

A tilt and turn window provide a large glass area thus allowing more light into the room. They are easy to operate – By turning the handle to 90 degrees; the opening sash tilts inwards to provide gentle ventilation. Close the window and then turn the handle through 180 degrees and the side hinges engage to allow the opening sash swing fully open into the room for ease of cleaning or fire escape.
